Age UK Crawley Help at Home Service - what we provide.
The Help at Home Service
The Help at Home Service is available for people over the age of 55, who need assistance in running their home.
Once Age UK Crawley has been contacted, a member of staff will visit to discuss the service and your needs in your home. The service provides general house work only.
Age UK Crawley will regulary monitor the client and helper, however if you have any concerns please contact us immediately.
With all helpers we take up references and since 2006 they all have enhanced criminal record checks.
The current fee for Help At Home is £6.50 per hour, and is paid directly to the helper. If an arrangement is made for services not specified it will be regarded as a private arrangement. Clients cancelling or missing appointment with their helpers with no notice will be asked to pay them the hourly rate for the designated period booked.
