The Redwood Centre, Haywards Heath
If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming environment to meet new people, learn a new skill, have a bite to eat, take part in activities, then the Redwood Centre offers all these things and more.
Our weekly classes include art, keep fit, computing, line dancing, Tai chi and Chair aerobics. Most weeks we have bingo, cards, board games (including scrabble),talks on various subjects, wii sessions, quizzes and a large print library.
Redwood Centre: Activity List
We are open from 9am to 4pm, Monday - Friday.
You may come to lunch and take part in any of our activities, or just sit and relax. Our luncheon club is served at 12.30pm Monday - Friday. Members are requested to pre-book by telephoning the centre 01444 450248. Tea and Coffee are available from 9am. Transport is available (please book).
Services available
We have a number of different services available to our members and the public:
- Assisted bathing
- Hairdressers
- Chiropody
- Acupuncture
- Manicures
- Hand made cards
The Mary Parsons Club for people with sight problems meet here every Wednesday.
We have over 15 outings to places of interest each year, as well as organised holidays for members.
Outreach Service
This service is for those living in Haywards Heath and the North Area of Mid Sussex, who would like support to remain living at home.
Saturday Club 10am - 5pm
People with dementia will be caringly looked after by trained staff in a friendly and safe environment within the centre. A hot meal will be serves at lunchtime and cofee, tea and biscuits will be served throughout the day.
Annual Membership to join the Redwood Centre - £17.50
Lunch £4.50
Room Hire
Non Commercial Organisations: £17.59 per hour.
Full use of kitchen: £9.45 per hour.
Use of kitchen for tea/coffee making: £8.40 per session.
