The Cherry Tree Centre, Burgess Hill
The centre in Burgess Hill provides activities and services for people over the age of 50. The activities are wide ranging and include Tai Chi, bowls and skittles, The Silver Song Club, gentle exercise, line dancing, yoga, computer training, bingo, crafts, flower arranging, painting classes, mental quizzes, physical games including a wii games machine, film sessions and much, much more.
Daily - we have table top games such as scrabble, whist, cards etc
You can, of course, just come along for a cup of tea and a chat, read the daily newspapers or just read a book, the choice is yours!
Membership
Membership is £15 for the Cherry Tree Centre.
Outings
Outings are arranged to various places within the county. We also jointly participate in outings with our sister centre in Haywards Heath. There's always something to look forward to.
Lunches
The centre provides a two course lunch served at 12.30 p.m for £4.50 (member have a choice of two meals), as well as a snack menu throughout the day. We cook from fresh every day and can cater for any dietary needs. Teas and coffees are served each morning and afternoon.
Transport
Transport is available for those who live in Burgess Hill and are unable to get to the centre by their own means. There is small charge of £2.50 for this service. This is for a return journey.
Services
We have a number of different services available within the centre:
Hand care, Chiropody, Hairdressing, Hearing aid Testing, Shower facilities, Library service and Outreach service.
We are here to help you with any problems that may arise when life becomes that little more difficult. If we don’t know the answer ourselves, we are able to put you in touch with someone who does.

Room Hire
Small Room: £10 per hour
Bowls Room: £13 per hour
Hall: £17 per hour
Use of Kitchen: £7 per hour
A £30 deposit for keys to the Centre will be required. This deposit will be returned once the keys have been returned.
