The Laburnum Centre is located in Lyon Street, Bognor Regis.
Activities
Activities are wide ranging from Line and Ball Room Dancing to various exercise classes, language classes, card games, darts, table tennis, gym, flower arranging, computer classes and free internet access, skype, and much much more.
Services
Services on offer include a hairdressers, chiropody, holistic practitioner as well as free information and advice.
Gym Suite
Come and try our new qym suite at the Laburnum Centre at just £20 for a 6 month membership!
£2 per session for member, £4.50 a session for non members, for anyone aged 50+.
Trained Fitness Instructor.
We open from 10am - 4pm and are hoping to extend our opening hours untill 8pm.
We have different fitness classes such as Tai Chi, Yoga and Aerobics.
Hot meal, snacks and refreshments
Hot meal, snacks and refreshments are provided. A hot meal is prepared daily within our well equipped kitchen and served at lunch time. Snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day.
The cafe is open on a Saturday between 10am - 2pm.
Travel club
A Travel club is run by volunteers who organise trips as far a field as Portugal and Spain and day trips to various places. Breaks are organised throughout the year which may include a Christmas break.
Forums
Forums are held for members and volunteers where every one is given the opportunity to be involved in the development of the centre.
Membership
Membership is paid 6 monthly and is at a very reasonable rate – currently under the equivalent of £1.50 per week. Anyone finding it difficult to pay the full amount in one sum can arrange an alternate way to pay through the manager.
Not sure you want to commit to six months or only want to use the centre occasionally – come as a day visitor.

Can you help us?
Volunteering Opportunities are vast. The centre relies on volunteer support who help run Reception, the Library, the Pop in and Kitchen as well as welcome people into the centre and run our activities.
